Update on robberies

On Wednesday in 900 block W. St. Paul Aave. At 8:55 p.m., the victim of a strong armed robbery called to advise he was robbed around 8:15 p.m. while walking on foot near 900 W. St. Paul. Two male, white suspects in a silver Honda Civic asked for directions and then demanded money. No weapons were displayed.
Suspect #1-M/W, 20-25 yoa, 6’2” tall, thin build, crew cut, blondish brown hair, having a black eye under the left eye, white t-shirt, shorts.
Suspect #2-M/W, 20-25 yoa, 5’10”, stockier build, short black hair, black beard and mustache, white t-shirt and shorts.
Frame Park : At 9:48 p.m., officers were flagged down near the State Office Building by a victim who stated he was robbed at gun point inside Frame Park at about 8 p.m. White male suspect was on foot in park, engaged victim in conversation, then pulled handgun and demanded money. No vehicle was seen. Suspect described around 20 years old, 6’0”, thin build, clean shaven, knit cap with strings on the side and leather on top of cap, white sweatshirt; suspect displayed a silver handgun.
At 300 W. College Ave at 11:36 p.m., squads responded to the report of a robbery. That incident turned out to be a language barrier and not a robbery.
Today at 11:45 a.m. the Citgo gas station at 304 N. Grand Ave. was robbed at gunpoint by a white male suspect wearing a white t-shirt and baggy ¾ length blue jean shorts, armed with a handgun. He fled on foot and was not apprehended. Suspect described as a white male in his 20s, thin build, short blondish brown hair.
