County Executive Dan Vrakas is no longer one of the most eligible bachelors in the Waukesha area. He confirmed today his marriage engagement to Tina Weissgerber , the eldest daughter of Jack and Linda Weissgerber, owners the Seven Seas restaurant on the eastern shore of Lake Nagawicka.

Dan says he proposed to Tina late last month while the couple was vacationing  in Greece.  Beneath the glow of a half moon that illuminated the nearby Acropolis, Dan says he got down on one knee and asked for Tina’s hand in marriage.  His voice cracked as recalled details of the proposal. Tina accepted.  A wedding date is pending.

Tina manages another Weissgerber restaurant, the Seabird at the Blue Harbor Resort, in Sheboygan, and the Holiday Inn Express in Delafield.

Dan says he first was introduced to his future bride about a year ago by Tina’s sister, Ramona.
