  1. My city net tax is up 8.3% and my school tax net is up over 12%. This is an unconscionable increase in a time of little or no inflation. I got NO raise in wages or pension, so who makes up the difference? They may have reached the tipping point where I can no longer afford to live here.

  2. Steve Edlund says:

    2.08%?

Here’s my bill for an assessed valuation of $199,100 (very close to the $200k average):
    State 3.9%
    County 8.6%
    City of Larry Land 12.8%
    WAUKESHA SCHOOLS 16.9%
    WCTC 8.7%
    Net Property tax increase 13.1%

  3. Steve Edlund says:

Just wait Huckleberry. If Waukesha runs a pipeline for Milwaukee water, you’re not going to get nearly the depressed value this tax increase has just inflicted on Waukesha.

There is going to be plentyful affordable housing in Milwaukesha.
