Main St. closed for upcoming Art Fest

Art Fest on Saturday will take place on Main St., from the Five Points to Maple Ave.

The Waukesha Business Improvement District has notified downtown merchants and residents that parking will not be allowed on Main St. between Grand and Maple from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Plenty of tow trucks will be on hand to enforce the parking restriction.

The BID is suggesting that affected people park in city lots on Friday night.

The Art Fest is not being held in Cutler Park, the usual spot, because of cost the city Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry charges for using the park.
